“As a mother, one of my greatest responsibilities is protecting my children. But in today’s world, I’ve realized that protecting them means understanding dangers that didn’t exist when I was growing up.
Officer Peasley’s presentation truly opened my eyes. He helped us see that danger can find its way into our children’s lives through things we often think as harmless - cell phones, the internet, social media, and even video games. It was eye-opening to realize how quickly technology is changing and how important it is for us as parents to keep learning right along with it.
