We are looking to run a babysitting class for teens interested in gaining knowledge from a certified baby babysitting program.
Increase your knowledge in child safety awareness and emergency management.

Please note this class is designed for ADULTS ONLY!
Topics will be sensitive and spoken of openly.
Speaker are: Malheur County Sheriff’s Deputy, Mr. Derrick Peasley and Vales’ own, Mrs. Lucy Hutchens.
The Dates have been changed for the workshops. They are now as follows:
First Class is on July 21, classes at 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Second Class is on: Aug 18, at 3:00 to 4:00 pm
We are hoping for a third class, and beyond. We need interested community members to contact Worksource or the Pantry to express your desires.
The next available date, BUT NOT CONFIRMED is Sept 15, same time and place.

Remarks:
“As a mother, one of my greatest responsibilities is protecting my children. But in today’s world, I’ve realized that protecting them means understanding dangers that didn’t exist when I was growing up.
Officer Peasley’s presentation truly opened my eyes. He helped us see that danger can find its way into our children’s lives through things we often think as harmless - cell phones, the internet, social media, and even video games. It was eye-opening to realize how quickly technology is changing and how important it is for us as parents to keep learning right along with it.

The Vale Food Pantry is looking for Community Partners to lease space in our pantry building, and/or help with fund raising in order to offset the cost of our monthly rent and utilities.
Oregon Food Bank has and will continue to provide food for the Vale Food Pantry.
